I Love Trees

Maybe it's something in my blood because my grandpa, my dad's dad, owned a sawmill.  Or maybe it's from my mom's side, since her mom loved trees/flowers/all plants and her dad loved woodworking.  Whatever it is, I love trees.

I was especially reminded when I came across this bookcase:

Drool.

And then I rememberd this Scrabble tile I have, which was my first Etsy purchase--I had it made into a ring.

Just recently I bought these copper leaf earrings from Etsy:

I had to add this find:

I just discovered this blog and spotted this picture in her newly redone bedroom.  After poking on her blog some more, I discovered that she made it herself!  Amazing!

And of course now with Christmas on its way, there are trees everywhere!  And seems like this year (or maybe I just haven't been paying attention) there are lots of non-traditional Christmas trees.

And we may (MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE) get a real Christmas tree this year!  Exciting!!!  The past couple of years we've used our artificial tree to decorate the bookstore and a little table-top tree at our house.  I really wanted a real tree last year, but we didn't get one since we knew we were going to be out of town the week after Christmas.  Hopefully this year, though, we'll see.  Why am I thinking about Christmas so much already, anyway, since it's 76 degrees outside?!?!?

What kind of Christmas tree do you have?
